Why it helps

More than a counter

Counting sweets on its own rarely changes anything. Quit Sweet is built to help you notice the pattern around the habit.

  • What you ate

Log a sweet by category and serving size. Sugar grams and cost are optional, so a quick entry stays quick.

  • When cravings happen

Craving logs are grouped by time of day, so a late-night or after-meal pattern becomes visible instead of assumed.

  • What tends to set them off

Tag a craving with a trigger such as stress, boredom or seeing sweets, and review which situations recur.

  • How it changes over time

Streaks, weekly totals and a four-week trend show the direction of travel, not just today.

Features

Everything you need, nothing you don't

Six tools that cover the whole loop: logging what happened, getting through a craving, and seeing what changed.

  • Log sweets in a few taps

Pick a category, choose a serving, and you are done. Extra detail is always optional.

  • Three goal modes

Quit sweets, reduce gradually, or stay within a daily limit — and change your mind later.

  • Support when a craving hits

A five-step pause: rate it, breathe, delay the decision, choose an action, record what happened.

  • Daily check-ins

A short daily reflection on mood, energy and how noticeable cravings felt.

  • Progress you can actually read

Streaks, weekly counts, a four-week trend, a goal calendar and craving time-of-day patterns.

  • Private by design

Your tracking information stays on your device. No account, and it works offline.

How it works

Four steps, then a short daily rhythm

Setup takes a few minutes. After that it is a few taps a day, only when you need it.

  1. Choose your goal

Quit sweets, reduce gradually, or stay within a daily limit. You can change this later without losing history.

  2. Record sweets and cravings

Log a sweet in a few taps. Note a craving even when you decide not to eat anything — that is useful data too.

  3. Check in with yourself

A short daily reflection on mood, energy and how strong cravings felt. One check-in per day, editable any time.

  4. Review patterns and progress

See streaks, weekly totals, craving times and a goal calendar built from what you actually recorded.

Craving support

Create a pause before the decision

When a craving hits, Quit Sweet offers a short, optional flow that puts a few moments between the urge and the choice.

  1. Rate the craving

Choose how strong it feels, from very light to very strong. You can optionally note what prompted it — stress, boredom, after meals, late night and more. There is no wrong answer.

  2. Pause and breathe

A short guided breathing pause with inhale, hold and exhale phases, and an optional tap when the phase changes. It is a short pause, not treatment, and you can skip it whenever you want.

  3. Delay the decision

Give yourself three, five or ten minutes before deciding. A short delay can create space to choose. You can finish early at any time.

  4. Choose another action

Pick one small thing that feels manageable right now — drink water, take a short walk, change your location, message someone, keep breathing, or add your own action.

  5. Record what happened

Note whether the craving passed, whether you ate something sweet, or that you are not sure yet. Every option keeps your previous progress and history.

Cravings feel different for everyone. This is a motivational pause-and-reflect tool, not medical treatment, and every step can be skipped.

Progress

See what actually changed

Progress is built entirely from what you record. Nothing is inferred, and nothing is uploaded.

  • Streaks and on-goal days

Current streak, best streak, and how many days met your goal — recalculated from your saved entries.

  • Weekly and four-week views

A bar chart for the last seven days against your target, plus four consecutive weekly totals.

  • Craving patterns

Cravings grouped into morning, afternoon, evening and night, so the timing becomes obvious.

  • Achievements and check-ins

Twelve milestones based on your own activity, and a searchable history of every check-in.

  • Sweets avoided and money saved are shown as estimates. Both are calculated from the baseline and spending figures you enter yourself, so they are only as accurate as those numbers.

Questions

Common questions

Short, direct answers. The full list covers privacy, goals, reminders and data.

  • What is Quit Sweet?

Quit Sweet is an Android habit-tracking and motivational app for people who want to cut back on sweets. It lets you log the sweets you eat, understand what triggers your cravings, build streaks toward a goal you choose, use a short craving-support flow when a craving hits, record daily check-ins, and review your progress over time.

  • How much does Quit Sweet cost?

The Google Play listing shows the current price and anything the app offers. We do not repeat pricing here so this page cannot fall out of step with the store.

  • Do I need to count calories or sugar grams?

No. Quit Sweet is built around counting how often you eat sweets, not nutrition data. Sugar grams and cost are optional fields you can leave blank on every entry, and onboarding states plainly that you will not need to enter sugar grams.

  • Does Quit Sweet give medical advice?

No. Quit Sweet is a habit-tracking and motivational tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not claim to treat any condition. If you have health concerns about your diet, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional.

  • Where is my tracking data stored?

Your tracking information is stored locally on your device. Quit Sweet does not require an account and does not send your habit data to a remote server.

  • Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up, login or account of any kind. You can start using the app immediately after setup.
